I hope that you are enjoying the Seattle Summer as much as I am. Many of you have reached out to me about my thoughts on the rising residential inventory in King County - up 42% from this time last year.
My response for Buyers: Over the last two months, I have secured seven buyer groups under-contract on some fabulous properties, some for under the asking price with great terms. If hesitant to jump into the market, now is a great opportunity. Yes, the inventory level helps, but Summer is a seasonally "slow" market as buyers are busy enjoying the warm weather and traveling.
And Sellers: Now more than ever, it's important to price and present your property correctly. There are plenty of buyers on the sidelines, but the task of selling your most significant asset is involved. Every property and buyer pool is different, and I am happy to discuss your situation anytime. Consider we have another seasonal spike of activity in September - a great time to list.
Enjoy the sun,
Emily
